Urban Dictionary says something along the lines of that a Nerdette is just a female nerd.
A NftN Nerdette, on the other hand, is much more than just that. Yes, she is a female nerd. But she's more substantial. A NftN Nerdette is:
- Classy and ladylike--think Audrey Hepburn!--and respectful of others and their opinions
- Chic and posh--not just in fashion or dress, but also with words and culture
- Witty: she'll either make you think or laugh until your sides split, or both (even at the same time)
- Fangirly: c'mon, admit it--you're a big fan of something and like to gush over it! So do we, and we're proud of it.
